The Job : Sales & Marketing Manager

Essential and optional requirements
– Relevant trainings or certifications in related field of sales and marketing is relevant
A strong understanding of overall hotel business, its facilities and policies
Ability to study, analyse and interpret complex activity in other to improve new practices or develop new approaches is expected
Must have the ability to understand the global market that affects the business of the hotel.
Must have strong decision making skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and take initiatives
Sales & Marketing manager will be responsible for planning and managing the overall sales and marketing of the hotel to achieve optimal occupancy, maximise revenue, and meeting /exceeding hotel profit objectives.
Sales & Marketing manager is responsible for total revenue including group and transient rooms, group Food & beverage, Meeting room rental (banqueting), local catering and other revenues.
Prepare & implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reporting, annual goals, sales &marketing budget, forecast & other reports as directed/required.
Survey, review and analyse competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in other to be proactive and adapt with business intelligence.
Develops new plans and programs and determine the effectiveness of current plans and programs.
Manage/ Direct all advertising, public relations and promotions.
Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.
Effective communication with other department and conduct daily briefing with departments on current key activities
Anticipate and address guests issues and establish proactive process to promote guest satisfaction.
Exhibits strong Digital marketing skills by driving social sites.
Work towards increasing of revenue.
